What this site collects, why, who else sees it, and how to have it deleted. Last updated 1 October 2026.
Who I am
This site is run by Barrie Moran. For anything about your data, email barrie@barriemoran.com.
What I collect
- Forms (book a call, the guide, sending me your audit result): what you type in, usually your name, email, company and message, plus your audit answers if you send them.
- The "What's pissing you off?" box: what you type, and your email if you leave it.
- With every form: your browser's description of itself (user agent), the page that referred you to this site if there was one, and a scrambled, one-way code made from your IP address, used to stop abuse. I can't turn that code back into your IP address.
The audit itself runs in your browser. Your answers are kept in your browser's own storage so a reload doesn't lose them, and they only reach me if you press Send it to Barrie.
What I don't do
No cookies, no analytics, no advertising trackers, no mailing list you didn't ask for. I don't sell or share your details.
Why
To reply to you and talk about the thing you asked about. The legal basis is my legitimate interest in answering an enquiry you chose to send, or taking steps at your request before any contract.
Who else handles it
- Anthropic (Claude) reads what you type in the "What's pissing you off?" box to write the instant first read, when that feature is switched on.
- Postmark delivers the email that tells me you've been in touch.
- Bunny.net serves the site through its content delivery network.
- Google Fonts serves the typefaces, so your browser connects to Google to fetch them.
- Migadu hosts my mailbox, where replies and copies of your enquiry live.
How long
As long as we're talking, and afterwards for as long as it's reasonably useful as a record of the conversation. Ask and I'll delete it.
Your rights
You can ask to see what I hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, or object to my using it. Email me. If you're unhappy with the answer, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
